Gants Bava Basra Bal Peh (The Whole Bava Basra )
There is a story told with the Rebbe. A Bochur (or his principal) once came in to the Rebbe and told the Rebbe that this Bochur did the whole Bava Basra Bal Peh, when the Rebbe heard this he stood up and with great joy said "Gants Bava Basra"! Well I would like to inform you that me and Mendel Kraz are 2 of 6 Bochurim doing "Gants Bava Basra"! We're holding 120 Blat Bal Peh and have 50 to go. We hope and we're sure that we're giving our parents, grandparents, family and of course the Rebbe, great Nachas. Good Shabbos!

Good Shabbos!
Well this Shabbos, everyone will be spending in Crown Heights for the Shloishim.
That is everyone but my family, you see unfortunately since like two months ago, my family was planning on going to Manhattan this exact Shabbos for a Bar Mitzva of a kid my father tutors and there was already reservations and all before anyone knew anything about the plans for this Shabbos.
Therefore due to these circumstances we will be unable to attend the Shloishim. But we will be there with everyone at heart and we will Iy"h celebrate the Shloishim our own way up at the Chabad House.
So everyone will be staying at our house for Shabbos, how exciting! Whoever is sleeping in my room, you have a tremendous Zechus and responsibility.
Yesterday I went to visit Luba Alte Taibel and the whole family, they have a live-in nurse staying there to help out with the baby, Luba is Bli Ayin Hora very very cute and she's Boruch Hashem doing very good!
Good Shabbos to y'all!
P.S. My sister Mushka will be staying in Crown Heights with you guys for Shabbos, take care of her, I'm sure it'll be hard for her without me around!

Longing to see Mendel & Mendel
Mendele & Mendele, since we missed you so much at Rashi's and Bentzy's wedding, we'll have to make it up to you at Devorele's and YaYa's, we'll give you twice as much sushi, roast ducklings and the most delectable desserts. And best of all, you will Im Yirtze Hashem dance with the newest member of our family, Taibele Shetichye. Love you and longing to kiss and hug you (I'll do it privately so as not to embarrass you).

Devorah And Ya Ya's Wedding
Okay, the date was set. The Chasunah will be none other than, Wednesday the 26th of Adar 2 (April 2), in the Razag Ballroom!
Yay, It's very exciting. I can't wait to dance the night away.
P.S. I put up a countdown to the wedding but it's not as nice as the one I had up for Rashi and Bentzy's Wedding, that is because the site I used last time is currently not doing a good job and it won't work properly. So this one is all I found, it's half decent!
Zei Gezunt, and see you all at the Sheva Brochos tonight IYH!

Mazal Tov To Yosef Yitzchok And Esti
Mazal Tov! Mazal Tov to Yosef Yitzchok and Esti and the whole family on the birth of their first daughter this morning, (I think around 5:30 am), 7th of Adar 1 (February 13).
Today is also the birthday and Yartzeit of Moshe Rabeinu. "How special"!
May Esti and the Baby be in the best of health, and may the baby grow up giving a lot of Nachas to her parents and the Rebbe.
I don't know about the rest of you but I think I got a clue as to what her name will be, heh? (sssshhhh)

Rashi's Wedding
It was just amazing, I had a real good time at the wedding, danced the night away.
Starting from the Kabbalas Panim, I was already saying Le'chaim and I had a lot of sushi.
The Chupah was really cold but it was really warm inside, if you know what I'm saying.
Then went the first dance, I was totally loving it. Everyone was extremely Lebedik and very excited.
The food was terrific, though I preferred to stick with the cocktails and drinks, hehe.
Then went a second dance with even more people than the first one, a lot of Bochurim from Oholei Torah Zal came by, as they usually do, to get a little drink and dance a bit.
Avraham fried sang a little, then went the rising star Benny Friedman, he was good.
After that went a special feature performance with Peter Himmelman on the guitar, Mendel Jacobson on the Mic. Shaya Lieberman on the Bass and Eli Marcus on the drums, it was real cool, nice jam by the musicians and rap by Mendel and Peter.
We danced some more, and then came Sheva Brochos, the Chasunah came to an end, as do all good things, we said goodbye, wished everyone for the best and Im Yirtzeh Hashem we'll all be doing this again at Devorah and Ya Ya's wedding Habaah Aleinu Letoivah, and hopefully Zeidy and Bubbe Lipskier and everyone else will be back again with us, a long time before then.
I would like to mention that there were two members of the club that couldn't make it to the wedding due to their responsibility of keeping up this world with the learning of
Torah Bayom Ubalailah, Ki Heim Chayeinu Veoirech Yameinu, and they are Mendel Krasniansky and Mendel Jacobson my brother, they are learning in Postville and could not make it tonight, but I did make sure that they were both updated on what was going on at the wedding every ten minutes, and they said Lechaim and did their own dance, they were with us all along.
Okay, thats it for now, I'm surprised that I was able to write this much in the state that I am right now after this wonderful wedding, and if there is anything out of place in this article, you can blame on the bar. hehe.
Have a good one everybody, Zei Gezunt! Zeitz Matzliach Breing Moshiach, Yevorechecha!

The Big Day
It's happening here at 644.
The dining room has been turned into a beauty shop, the kitchen -- a hair salon.
The men feel all left out, but we'll be getting the blessings under the chupa...
Rashi is beyond stunning. Her mother is a close second, looks like her sister...
And bubby, well she looks like a young 37 yr old.
Wanted to give you a behind the scenes taste of the hachonos.
The excitement mounts.
We expect you 4:30PM sharp - NOT Jacobson time.

This is too much!
Hey guys, why am I finding out about this Jakey log so late in the game!
But here is the deal... between facebook, geni, and now blogging, i will have either gained 30 pounds (sitting all day by the computer and munching) or lost 30 pounds (so glued to the computer with no time to go eat)
either way keep posting and i will keep reading. I just added some pics from Devorahs Lechaim on Facebook. Blogged on Bubbes Blog. See you at Rashis wedding! WE CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Excitement is in the air!
Hey everyone!
First post on the Jacobson blog.. now that I'm sitting around bound to my home all day (can't leave without an escort) with not much left to do, I'm finally getting a chance to check out the blog world! This is exciting..
So Levik in response to your comment, the wedding is totally a jean skirt event!! I thought we included that on the invitation but seems we forgot.. In all seriousness though a jean skirt is kinda hard to dance in so ask the women if maybe they can upgrade to any other material.. as long as they are comfortable to dance the night away!!
Looking forward to seeing you all Sunday at 4:30 sharp! For those with a Jacobson sense of timing make that 3:30 sharp.

Hello to all the Jakey's from Simon.
Thank you Levik for initiating this blog. It's a great way to keep connected...
Meanwhile, the final week countdown has begun to "super Sunday" -- no, not the football endzone, but the Rashi and Bentzy startzone. We all are very excited, and can't wait to dance together.
May this simcha lead to many more,

How exciting, its official. The Lechaim will be tonight at the Krasniansky's house, hope to see y'all there.
The Chasunah should be in a Mazaldiken Shaah, in Yerushalayim together with Moshiach.

A Message From Chula
Hi. I just had a test on Shulchan Aruch, it was easy. I would like to tell everybody that on Motzei Shabbos I went with my father to a learning program, and I won a prize that has a lot of games in one. I hope you are all very happy for me. I am getting a potato bagel, for coming 4 days on time to school hooray. Me and Sara Basya are probably buying a Ripstik, so you might see us the whole day on the Ripstik especially me until I learn how to do it. By the way it wont make a difference if it`s freezing, boiling, raining, we`ll always be on it.

Message From My Bro Mendel
Today Mendel was at the dentist in Postville, and he dreaded every moment of it, I am aware of this fact because I got at least 10 text messages from him each one describing the pain he was going through and the numbing process, but we came out with the conclusion that it ain't no thing compared to some other things my bro went through, like getting hit by a car two years ago and a few years before that he had to get his head stapled back together, then in the Walmart in Postville a bike fell on his lip and gave it a nice cut, yeah he went through a lot. wtvr, I told him that if I were him, I would wear a helmet where ever I go! hehe.
Ok, anyway gtg shlofen all the best to everyone and please include me in your prayers tomorrow for I am having a test that will eat me alive, well I hope not!
tzit for now.
