Devorah And Ya Ya's Wedding
Okay, the date was set. The Chasunah will be none other than, Wednesday the 26th of Adar 2 (April 2), in the Razag Ballroom!
Yay, It's very exciting. I can't wait to dance the night away.
P.S. I put up a countdown to the wedding but it's not as nice as the one I had up for Rashi and Bentzy's Wedding, that is because the site I used last time is currently not doing a good job and it won't work properly. So this one is all I found, it's half decent!
Zei Gezunt, and see you all at the Sheva Brochos tonight IYH!

Rashi's Wedding
It was just amazing, I had a real good time at the wedding, danced the night away.
Starting from the Kabbalas Panim, I was already saying Le'chaim and I had a lot of sushi.
The Chupah was really cold but it was really warm inside, if you know what I'm saying.
Then went the first dance, I was totally loving it. Everyone was extremely Lebedik and very excited.
The food was terrific, though I preferred to stick with the cocktails and drinks, hehe.
Then went a second dance with even more people than the first one, a lot of Bochurim from Oholei Torah Zal came by, as they usually do, to get a little drink and dance a bit.
Avraham fried sang a little, then went the rising star Benny Friedman, he was good.
After that went a special feature performance with Peter Himmelman on the guitar, Mendel Jacobson on the Mic. Shaya Lieberman on the Bass and Eli Marcus on the drums, it was real cool, nice jam by the musicians and rap by Mendel and Peter.
We danced some more, and then came Sheva Brochos, the Chasunah came to an end, as do all good things, we said goodbye, wished everyone for the best and Im Yirtzeh Hashem we'll all be doing this again at Devorah and Ya Ya's wedding Habaah Aleinu Letoivah, and hopefully Zeidy and Bubbe Lipskier and everyone else will be back again with us, a long time before then.
I would like to mention that there were two members of the club that couldn't make it to the wedding due to their responsibility of keeping up this world with the learning of
Torah Bayom Ubalailah, Ki Heim Chayeinu Veoirech Yameinu, and they are Mendel Krasniansky and Mendel Jacobson my brother, they are learning in Postville and could not make it tonight, but I did make sure that they were both updated on what was going on at the wedding every ten minutes, and they said Lechaim and did their own dance, they were with us all along.
Okay, thats it for now, I'm surprised that I was able to write this much in the state that I am right now after this wonderful wedding, and if there is anything out of place in this article, you can blame on the bar. hehe.
Have a good one everybody, Zei Gezunt! Zeitz Matzliach Breing Moshiach, Yevorechecha!

The Big Day
It's happening here at 644.
The dining room has been turned into a beauty shop, the kitchen -- a hair salon.
The men feel all left out, but we'll be getting the blessings under the chupa...
Rashi is beyond stunning. Her mother is a close second, looks like her sister...
And bubby, well she looks like a young 37 yr old.
Wanted to give you a behind the scenes taste of the hachonos.
The excitement mounts.
We expect you 4:30PM sharp - NOT Jacobson time.

Excitement is in the air!
Hey everyone!
First post on the Jacobson blog.. now that I'm sitting around bound to my home all day (can't leave without an escort) with not much left to do, I'm finally getting a chance to check out the blog world! This is exciting..
So Levik in response to your comment, the wedding is totally a jean skirt event!! I thought we included that on the invitation but seems we forgot.. In all seriousness though a jean skirt is kinda hard to dance in so ask the women if maybe they can upgrade to any other material.. as long as they are comfortable to dance the night away!!
Looking forward to seeing you all Sunday at 4:30 sharp! For those with a Jacobson sense of timing make that 3:30 sharp.

Rashi's wedding
Nu, so how is everyone preparing for Rashi's wedding?
Some info: This Friday night there will be a Shabbos Kallah at our house, 644 Eastern Parkway. All of you are of course invited.
Shabbos day Ofruf will be in the Rebbe's room. The Kiddush will be upstairs in 770.
Let the party begin...
